Canon Pixma IP90V Driver Download
The Canon Pixma iP90v is the 2007 update of the Pixma iP90. Besides support for Windows Vista and a reduction in the strange speed photo printing, the iP90v is essentially the same product. Even it costs the same $ 250 as the older model. If you already have an iP90, do not worry about updating. If you do not already have a portable printer, consider if you need it, because it is not cheap, especially with accessories. If you simply must have a small inkjet, you will be satisfied with print speeds of the Pixma iP90v and quality. (The closest competition Canon has in this niche is the HP Deskjet 460 series do not have an opinion yet, but we’re working on it. In the meantime, check out our review of the HP Deskjet 450wbt.)
The compact printer is small enough to fit in a laptop bag, to print from virtually anywhere. For a single-function printer, $ 250 is a lot of money, especially when you need an additional outlay of cash for optional battery kits that allow a true impression “anywhere”. Drum kits will cost between $ 90 to $ 140. That said, the printer comes equipped with a USB port for photo printing from PictBridge cameras and an IrDA port for wireless printing. To print from a Bluetooth-enabled device such as a laptop or PDA, Canon offers an optional Bluetooth adapter that can be connected to the PictBridge port.
The iP90v uses the same cartridges as the older model. (See the review of the comments of printing costs.) Like its predecessor, the iP90v offers two alternatives to the normal printing. If you are worried about running out of black ink, you can switch to a mode to save ink Black (similar to the project); the resulting text is a dark gray, unlike black. If you’ve run out of black ink and has a replacement cartridge on the list, you can use the Composite Black mode, mixing the colors in the color tank. The resulting text is a purple light gray – practical option is not appropriate for formal documents, but one in a hurry.
Finally, as for the print speed, the iP90v offers the same speeds, except when it comes to photo printing. Produced black text at rate of 6.23 pages per minute – the same as the iP90. When printing color graphics, the iP90v scored 1.42ppm. We could not make direct comparisons between the two models for photo print speeds, as our methodology changed between test periods. But the iP90 scored 1.05ppm for an 8×10 photo while the iP90v netted a mere 0.68ppm for 4×6 photo print – clearly, the new iP90v is much slower.
